Jad guide [range]

Intro: Jad is a fairly easy minigame when you know how to do it, this guide will be showing you the gear you need, inventory setup, and some little tricks to help you complete this minigame.

Rewards: After you have completed this minigame you will earn a firecape. A firecape is a pretty cool cape and is known to be one of the most common capes around Vitalityx. Here is a picture of a firecape.



Recommended stats:
-61 Ranged
-44 prayer

Inventory: In this picture it consists of 1 range potion (4), 3 restore potions (4), and the rest food.

For the food part of the inventory, you can use rocktail or manta ray. Food doesn't really matter if you know how to do prayer good.

Gear: Gear may vary depending on combat skills. I will show you the pure gear setup and 2 different main gear setups.

Pure setup:


Head:Robin hood hat
Body: Ghostly robe top, Snakeskin top
Legs: Red d'hide legs, Black d'hide legs
Wepon:Rune c'bow
Shield:Unholy book
Boots: Ranger boots, Climbing boots
Gloves: Ghostly gloves
Neck: Amulet of fury, Amulet of glory


Main setup 1:


Head: Robin hood hat
Body: Black d'hide top, Karils top
Legs: Black d'hide legs, Karils skirt
Wepon: Rune c'bow
Shield: Unholy book
Boots: Ranger boots
Gloves: Barrows gloves
Neck: Amulet of fury

Main setup 2:


Head: Armadyl Helmet
Body: Armadyl platebody
Legs: Armadyl skirt
Wepon: Rune c'bow
Shield: Dragonfire shield
Boots: Ranger boots
Gloves: Barrows gloves
Neck: Amulet of fury

Also guys if you have a archer ring you can use it aswell for both pure and main gear. It's recommended that you use Dragon bolts (e) or Diamond bolts (e)

How to pray: Praying is very simple if you use the range way that i've been teaching you. Here are the two ways to protect yourself from Jad. When you see Jad stomp, then quickly switch to range. But if he stands and you see a ball come out of him then quickly switch to magic.

Tips: Here is a couple point form tips on some good ways to defeat Jad.
- Always have your mouse over the other pray so you can swithc faster.
-Use a range potion before you enter jad.
- When you are about to go start jad, always turn on Eagle eye for higher ranged attacks. It's not recommended that you are on curses spellbook because the leech ranged and sap range only work against another player not a npc.
-Remember to stand a safe distance away from jad (like in my vide below) So then he can't melee you.

I agree its very very well put out how long did this tutorial take you jake?

well took me like 10-15 mins to get the pictures all ready and stuff, then prob 30-40 mins to write it. But also I kinda planned a layout the night before to how it was going to look, so that took some time off.
